Default Forum backlinks - worth it?

I read here many uses forum to build backlinks. While the main page of the forum has PR 5 rank, the individual threads/posts as well as the profile page where we create our profiles does not have any ranks.

So is it worth to create a profile in a page that does not have any PR ranking? Also most can only accommodate only an url and don't have the place for an anchor text

I see Paula and angela list is popular here. Just would like to know member's success with fourms

Are you talking about backlinks in your user profile? I don't think that even counts as a link and this isn't what people are talking about. It's all about the signature links.

About a week ago or so with a heritage forum Mr. In fact some of the test that was only a forum for links to specific pages, the page will not be indexed by Google after the index is more than three weeks. I found my anchor text to fall dramatically last week and I know it was a signal forum.

Even better is to seek and find your own links like Paul and Angela...Its not really hard at all. If you find untapped forums and networks you can get even more link juice then using paul and angelas like everyone else.

No, this is an effective method for backlinks from profile creation but not very popular. Profiles on good trusted sites also counts as a backlinks. If your profle is not counted as a backlinks atleast all the readers recognize you from your profile.

Forum signature tags is the best way to build backlinks through forum posting. Forums allow you to have signatures that display at the bottom of every post.

By placing a little bit of information about your website in your signature with a hyperlink you are developing backlinks on every post. If your posts in the forum catch the interest of someone there is a chance they will click on the hyperlink in your signature and you have effectively created traffic to your site.

Of course, the key to this strategy is that you are a regular member in forums on the internet. If you are already a regular poster on a forum you can begin to implement this strategy to begin building traffic to your site. However, if you are not a member of any forums, find one that interests you and relates to your website and join. Then you too can also use the forum posting backlink method.

Most forums will allow you to create a signature tag line to your posts, and you can find this in their member's area and you will have the ability to add and edit forum signatures in this section. So what should you place in your signature? Your signature should have your real name, a hyperlink URL to your website, and a brief description of the service or product you are offer.

OK,
Let's say we have links to our sites in our signature. Still, it's a NO-Follow link, so we don't really get any juice, therefore besides maybe traffic (which is the most important thing in IM) I don't think we get link juice from signature links in forum - just like here

Forum posting is without doubt still very effective. And it does not matter if the page on which your link appears has a PR 0. Think about it in this way.Google still values highly an article on ezinearticles.com which comes from a PR 0.

Even more important...forums are a source of semi-targeted traffic if you are in one that relates to your niche. It is all about whether or not your sig link directly relates to the wants or needs of the forum members.

I'll take targeted traffic above all else.

I have registered on one forums that I havent posted in and it does link to your profile page, so you get one link from your profile page and the others are from your posts.

One thing to remember about posting on a forum with your backlink as the signature is that the page you are posting on is ALREADY indexed by google so your link could be adding juice to your site in hours.

But profile backlinks like Paul & Angelas you are creating a new page a `profile` page about yourself and this page is NOT indexed and it could and mostly will take along time for google to find this page sometimes it never will be found and of course if google hasn`t indexed it your backlink wont count.

Hi,
I just recently begun using Forum Profile links and they are great. I have a page i wanted to rank so badly, not move up the search engine despite the constant backlinks using UAW (unique Article Wizard). Its true the forum profile pages often have no ranks in them but believe me for some reason they work very well.

also once you've inserted your links in your Profile pages you need to help get the that url Indexed for the backlink to count. Some backlinks can take days if not weeks. But there are many tools available to do just that.

backlink booster - [EDIT] $67
backlink index Express - WP plugin $47 ( one time payment)
Backlink Energizer (i use this one) - WP plugin $ 37-47 (one time payment)

Its crucial to get them indexed to count

Hi Angela is a warrior member in this forum

She sells "angela backlinks" basically High Forum Profile links packets. Profile links are on the rage now.

To prove how powerful her packets are just Google "Angela" she is on the first page first spot for the name Angela.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I wished it was not true myself , but I've seen through experience for several linking campaigns, I use scrapebox to check indexation, if the % of links indexed are high the affects can be seen very fast VS campaigns with low % of links indexed.

Though I have read in some articles that contrary to the amount of tools helping get your backlinks indexed, that you only need to get them spidered.

But I think to really confirm we should start a small experiment to see if it matters. I think i will start doing it myself soon .

Actually I have noticed that posting hyperlinks in the signature helps to increase LP mass to your new site. This builds trust in Google eyes. But avoid using anchors! This might lead to a penalty. Or at least you should use diluted anchors.

Yes forum links are still worth it. Just make sure that going forward you mix your links. Theres no point in getting stuck with only one kind of link. As your presence grows and you have repeat visitors then you will want to have many kinds of links some of which will be natural because your content/user experience is good (or should be).

Unfortunately people tend not to concentrate on quality in their site and no one wants to return. This is NOT the way forward. Sure if you rank number one for a term that has say 5,000 searches you will get a few thousand visits per month. Lets say 3,000 but if you build something that people want to come back to then its

3,000 next month plus say 200 returning visitors
3,000 the next month and 300 returning visitors
etc.

As your site grows you will find yourself eventually with more traffic returning than new visitors. So even for traffic you should be thinking about having a user experience with content that gets natural links and grows your traffic not just relying on profile links.

In my opinion only making profiles through forums or other websites which allows it, can't help you at all. These pages will not be indexed in many cases. And if they become indexed, they can't help your website to get a better ranking. Its my idea.

dont do it from an SEO point of view..most are nowadays no follow links anyways so they dont count..even if you post on other ones where there are no "no follow" tags the links are quite weak so the question is whether they will pass on any link juice if any...however from a publicity point of view it can make more sense..hope that helps..

Forum back links will help for generate traffic to web site... where search engine wise there is no worth for back links.. those are "nofollow" links. where search engines not give any weightage for this type links..

I do say forum posting is of worth or i can any process of SEO worth when you are doing in a proper way as in Forum Posting if you are not posting the reply to the relevant thread then it would not be of any worth and admin can banned you for that.Similar in Commenting etc.
