|  Google Maps Human Phone Call Verification?
In all my years of doing local SEO I've never, ever had a human from Google call to verify anything. I have seen telemarketers (probably working for an SEO firm doing lead generation) miss represent themselves by pretending to BE Google, apparently hoping the business owner would be thrilled to get a phone call "From" Google. Well I just had someone purporting to be From Google Maps, call to verify an old listing that I wanted to get merged: I had an old address Moved to a new address Google maps help suggests that you just wait for the 2 to merge ... I'm not really convinced that phone call was from Google, anyone else getting phone calls from Google, Human phone calls, not the machine calls issuing a pin #, but a Live Body (Matt from Google Maps) personally call to speak with you to verify correct street address? |
