Hi there, Bought a WSO yesterday - all keen to get system set up today, BUT the system recommended using Market Samurai - was keen to buy it but every site I went into that got me to add my name and address just never resulted in an autoresponse - tried three different email addresses, but no luck. So I had read on another thread that MicroNicheFinder was just as good, so went and paid for that - and now it comes up and tells me after I have paid $99 for the product, that it can't complete searches but "Kevin" is working on it - does anybody know anything about this and can let me know if it is going to be resolved or have I wasted money on the WSO and the Niche finder tool?? Thanks ![]() Lisa |

Hi Lisa, yes I understand your frustration and incidentally, I own both MS and MNF. not sure what's going on with MS, I didn't think there was a problem, but MNF (which I really like) used to get its search data from the now defunct (legacy) Google Keyword Tool External. Just a few days ago Google have apparently closed of the "back end" access to that tool and Kevin (MNF's main developer) is as I understand it, finalising the updated version which will pull its data from the Google's new Adwords Keyword Tool. Basically, the fix is aparently iminent and other than that MNF is an excellent program I'm sure you will be happy with. Vlad |

I'll 2nd that, MNF is excellent! This is the only time I have seen the software down, which really isn't MNFs fault since Google went & changed the keyword tool. |

I haven't used MNF, but I do have MS, and it has always worked great for me. Maybe shoot them a support e-mail?

Thank you all for your messages - I have sent a support email to MNF but have not had a reply, but it is weekend, so I am happy to wait for that. The chap I bought the WSO from also confirmed he is not having problems with MS so I will bite the bullet and buy that one too - seeing as it won't let me download the free version for some reason. Thanks again for your help ![]() lisa |

MNF is really good, and I've been using it since it was released several years ago (2006 I believe). As mentioned previously, they are fixing it so it will pull data from the new Google KW tool. James Jones has always been really good about updating it quickly and often, so I'm sure it will only be a couple of days to fix it. He says he will email users when it is done. BTW, I checked out Market Samurai a few months back, and it's a really great tool, but I MNF does what I need it to do, so I passed on MS and stayed with the time-tested MNF. I especially like the Measure of Backlinks (MOB) feature, which allows me to see at a glance the number of backlinks for a given keyword for the top 10 websites in Google. At least for me, at this time the MOB is a better indicator of competitor strength than the Strength of Competition (SOC) results. |

Is there any update on this? I own micronichefinder and have had no official word from them at all. The only thing I know has come from this forum. At first I thought it was me and I just kept trying later. It would be nice if I were kept in the loop.
