Default (ALERT!) Market Samurai Users and Potential Customers This Concerns YOU!!!

As some of you may have noticed, MS may not be currently working.

This quote comes from the Noble MS Team...

Quote:
Hi everyone!
In the last few hours Google have updated the way CAPTCHAs are displayed in their new Keyword tool. Whereas CAPTCHAs used to appear in a separate window when performing a search, they now appear as part of the Keyword Tool page itself. The upshot of this is that at the moment, any action in the Keyword Research module that generates a CAPTCHA will result in the error message “Retry Limit Exceeded”. The development team are working to update Market Samurai to accept the new format and we will have Keyword Research back on its feet soon! Thanks for your patience!
I'm hearing from people that use Micro Niche Finder, that they are experiencing the same type of issues.

At this point, I know of no solid ETA. You can login to NobleSamurai.com and download the latest version from there. However, I'm being told, that option is not operational at the moment.

Anybody able to use MS right NOW?

I guess the short term solution is to use the google keyword tool directly & import the results into MS.

Having said that I've never done this before myself so not sure how straight forward it is...

Thanks for the heads up Giles

Giles,

I have the paid version as well.

Just logged in right before sending this to make sure.

Was asked if I wanted the upgrade (took it of course).

I opened a saved folder then tried a new keyword captcha pops up I type it in and everything is fine.

Don't know why your having problems but I hope they are soon resolved awesome tool is it not?

yep, the paid version is working fine here, as well. They must have already worked out the latest kink.

Man, that's some service.

I have full working version but for some reason the results seems to be very skewed and off, it was not like this when I first purchased market samurai initially about 3 months ago.

I did have an issue earlier today with the captcha, but I also needed to update MS which I seem to have to do quite a lot lately, they seem to be fixing and adding things alot.

The way I see it that is a good sign, specially considering that they have always been totally upfront about the fact the product is not finished, even though at the moment I have trouble imagining how could they possibly make it even better for the price tag.

Then again it´s just my personal tke on it.

And true, in another thread I saw an hour ago or so there was something about MNF having an issue as well, probably the same thing.

This problem actually started way earlier in the week and they fixed it within 12 hours. If you're still having problems you should close the program, re-open it, then apply the update. I've been using it all day with zero hangups.

I've been using MS for over a year now and have never has an issue to speak of. When I logged earlier this afternoon, I received the error message:

Quote:
The installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance.
Had no idea where it originated from or why?

I thought it might be related to Comodo, but that wasn't the case.

When I went to the MS blog: Noble Samurai, it looked as though this was a issue facing the masses, but from what I'm gathering now, that is not the case.

At any rate, my objective was to avoid uninstalling MS, logging into my account, getting the latest version and reinstalling it, but as it stands after going through a process of elimination, that's appears to be my only option.

Just to clarify; it's not ANY type of MS outage.

I will say this, the Noble MS Team has always been on top of their game!

I have a paid version of MS and for the last two weeks Im having major problems with keyword research, even after updating the software to the latest version.

It seems like the search numbers are off. The maximum amount of daily searches (no matter which keyword) is only 12. In addition, some highly used keywords, like "acne remedy" show no searches at all.

Im not really sure whats wrong here. Before this, I was able to use this tool without problems.

Hope they will fix this ASAP, as I really like this piece of tool..

I think that your issue is an individuality. Try uninstalling and reinstalling MS again. It should work after...
