Default Q on removing link to malware

Hope this is the correct forum:

Google red-flagged one of my sites, claiming a blog postredirects to a malware site.
They sent a message - not sure how to correct the problem. Would I skip past the red flag,
go to my blog, find the offending post via dashboard and delete it? Or would I go through my web host?

Here is the message:

General problem
When Google last tested this page, no content was returned from your server. Instead, the browser was redirected to a malicious web page. It is likely that your server configuration has been modified.

Many thanks in advance.

Where are you hosting the site?

You should probably speak to your host support team and ask them for help if you are unsure.

There are so many ways your site can get hacked though, you can get Google to review your site after it has been corrected through Webmaster tools.

It's the only way to remove the site warning.

Your hosting support team probably won't help much. Even good hosting companies don't have the time to deal with this.

You're going to have to remove the malware first, then ask Google to review your site as Defunct mentioned.

If you'll provide me with the link, I can take a quick look and see if it's anything obvious from the frontend.
