Have you seen a change in traffic since Google Instant was released? Have you used any strategies to cater for it? Please discuss! |

Seeing a small boost because sometimes people get a more specific recommendation for which we rank #1.

| Yeah I'm the other way. My main site ranks for a couple of nice short tail, but pretty much nothing long tail. I have seen a pretty dramatic fall in revenue this month too - damn you Google!

no change for me, google shows the path to take and keep ahead, as soon as I see it changing or another method rising, I simply follow suit.

It varies to be honest, but I don't think it has anything to do with the "instant" feature. There's other indexing shenanigans going on right now that google needs to get sorted out, and then i'll be in position to track better some metrics.

I haven't noticed any changes at all to my traffic. I don't too many people are that impressed with Instant though, and hopefully it will slowly be phased out.

Rankings are not affected by the sudden entrance of Google Instant but it highly affected my site traffic though. People doing SEO for long-tail keywords will surely have difficulties since people will opt for searches suggested by Google Instant. *sigh* It's kinda alarming.

My advice with the recent changes of google and implementation of google instant is :: 1. Have one more look at your targeted long tails 2. Type in your longtails slowly into google 3. See what results show up 4. Reoptimize your pages for the previous keywords I've been doing that for some of my minor pages. It seems to be bringing me traffic. Get the drop on your competitors. Good SEO is knowing how to adapt to the changes around you. Cheers! |

Almost everything I see in Google Instant, is the same exact keywords that already existed in Google Related Keywords, for my own sites keywords. Not much (If any) change here. |

I haven't implemented any strategies for this because I don't think it's gonna effect any page rank.
