In the past I always made product related sites and found it was nigh unto impossible get links from Wikipedia in the External Links section. I guess that was because it was all product related but today I noticed on a post there that there was a link to a (now deactivated) blogspot blog where someone was reviewing a gun. My flagship site is a review site and I was wondering if, since the focus of the site is to give out info if I might be in a better position to get links from Wikipedia on this type of site. I'm still in the "seasoning" phase for the site and have not even installed Adsense on it yet, so the site is purely an info site at this time. Do you think that my links to this type of site will "stick"? Also, where can I find out how to go about adding content to Wikipedia? |

Adding to Wikipedia and getting links to stick is easy. just add something and links that adds to the site and improves it. However you need to be honest with yourself whether or not the content you post is an improvement and donīt think your "junk" is best thing since sliced bread.

When you submit a link for a wikipedia site first thing is it needs to be highly relevant to the content. 2nd thing is make sure there is no promotional links on the site you are linking, no adsense, no ads of any kind for the 1st 10 days. Later try to sneak some in.
