My Top 5 PR8 Backlink Secrets

These are all PR8 backlinks you can get that will help ANY site. As always make sure to contribute something valuable to the discussion, actually read the article and write an intelligent response. Please don't contribute pollution to the Internet, be "Internet Green".

1. Go to abcnews.go.com and join their discussions. You can add a link in their editor to your website. I would write something relevant to the article you're posting on, something that could add some value to the experience the user is having, and then deep link to a relevant article on your blog.

Paste the URL the discussion is on (and your link) into a notepad, I'll explain more in a moment.

2. Go to the community page for Google Earth. Create a profile and add your website's "about" link to your profile. Start a discussion about an opinion you have or something you like about Google Earth, your link will be in your signature.

3. Goto the user blogs on USAToday.com and create a new personal blog. Write a short article about a news story you read that really touched you. Go to that news story you are writing about (on any other website), screenshot it and post the picture on a new blog post on your own blog with a quick and unique review there as well. Create a link from the news story you wrote on USAToday.com with the anchor text being a relevant keyword to the story on your blog. This is the way to do it if you want them to keep your blog up. Otherwise they will know you are trying to get a link and remove your blog almost immediately.

Paste the URL from the blog post you created on USAToday & Your Blog into your notepad.

4. Goto 22.tmz.com and find a good story to comment on. Put your website in the comment where it requests it. It will make your verify your email, so do so.

Paste the URL of the page with your comment in it into your notepad.

5. Goto espn.go.com and find the 'comment wall'. Post a relevant comment and deep link to your 'about' page.

Paste the URL of the page your comment is on into your notepad.

Now go to your WordPress.com or Blogger.com account and create a temporary blog post called something like 'Cool Links to My Social Breadcrumbs" and copy and paste all the links from your notepad into the blog post and publish it.

Goto pingoat.com and add the blog post URL from WordPress.com or Blogger.com and submit it with all the check boxes checked to get it all indexed faster.

Watch the bump in your website's rankings on Google over the next 5 days.

That is an interesting concept you have shared. Just one question through are you deleting the temp post once it has been sent to through pingoat. Only reason I ask is because you said create a temporary post with these links. So are we keeping this page live or are we deleting it after pinging.

Don't see how abcnews.go.com allows for any deep linking - there's no URL opportunities and html doesn't show up in the post..?

Most links are good but i don't believe in making profile backlinks even in high pagerank websites as Google Earth.

I dont see how this can be beneficial.. Thats a domain PR #, when you make a thread or add to something with a lower PR thats the rank that follows...

I guess my biggest question would be, if you create this “link” page on your main site with the url’s to the comments you’ve posted, wouldn’t the site increase you experience wipe away once you delete that “link” page on your site in a month or so?

Those aren't PR8 links... they are on a page of a PR8 domain. Very different.

A lot of those sorts of sites will allow a profile link or a website homepage link, or indeed a link in the bio. If all that fails, comment on some discussions.

I'd like to add BusinessInsider.com to the list...only PR 7, but I've seen fast indexing and good results from comment links on this site.

Add to the conversation...not only because it's the cool thing to do, but your comment might not get approved otherwise.

The point of the temporary post is to help google find the comments/profiles. Once those are indexed, you don't need to the temporary post anymore.
