I'm playing around with Google AdWords and so far, all the traffic comes from the Display Network. Very few search keywords get displayed at all. If I search the list of keywords that are relevant to my business in Google, there isn't any sponsored links displayed for any of them. Sponsored links only seem to display on keywords that are too generic to be any useful to me. I dressed a list of target SEO keywords with statistics. Let's look at 3 of the most searched keywords. sexual attraction: 22200/month, very low competition. physical attraction: 14800/month, some competition well being: 301000/month, too much competition There aren't any sponsored links for any of them. So I have 2 questions. 1. Can I sponsor keywords that have low search volume? 2. In order to sponsor the keywords, would I simply have to raise my CPC big limit? Currently my settings are at a minimum: $1/day, $0.25 max CPC. |

I probably would not even attempt it for the first two. There's probably no sponsored links for a reason. If you tried, you would probably get a message saying to try something else. And it might not be a polite message. I don't have a clue about the 3rd one, however. There may be some sponsored searches. But then again, what would be your CTR? I can't imagine it would be worth it. If you meant the 3 words are just examples, I still would not go for such a low bar. Aim higher. Paul |
