Lightbulb Any products that can be used to "spy" on competitors? Similar to Compete.com..

Hey my fellow Warriors, just started a job and need to do some competitive research on our main competition.

I recently finished Traffic Secrets 2.0 (John Reese) which recommended using Compete.com. I see now they changed their pricing policy to a monthly only model, and an expensive one at that.

Can anyone else recommend a product I can use that's similar but cheaper or on a pay per report basis?

Thanks a lot,
Dan Sweeney

Update: So far it looks like Market Samurai is the best option. After the $50 discount surfaces, I plan to purchase it and I'll post back in this thread about my results.

P.S. Help a fellow Warrior at his new job!

Have you checked out Market Samurai? Best $150 I ever spent. You can use the competition module and see exactly what your competitor is doing. From there you just reverse engineer it.

Market Samurai is my preferred choice for analysing the competition too.

*Update:* Looks like if you just sign up for the free trial, you will get the discount.

Can we get a link to that?

Looks like Market Samurai is the way to go.
