Killer November Adsense Month

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone else has seen a sharp increase in Adsense earnings this month. Month to date, I have seen nearly a 60% increase in earnings compared to last month. my eCPM is up about the same percentage.

My guess is that it is from the beginnings of the Christmas marketing season. Anyone else noticing similar numbers?

Well done. I have seen an increase however it maybe that I'm getting more return from my SERP's.

Thanks. My SERP's have been getting higher as well, but not enough to account for the large increase in earnings this month.

No increase here, and don't get too hyped about Christmas. December was my worst month for adsense last year! Maybe it went better for others, but that was my experience.

Our adsense earnings have been rising lately as well but it is hard to say if it is because of the Christmas season or because of the new content and SEO work that we have been doing.

Did publish some Santa articles, that might have helped.

I think it can fluctuate depending on which niche your site is in. Some niches are steady throughout the year, while others are very cyclical, such as mnetioned above, Christmas themes, Santa. Travel themes can be cyclical too, as people will plan and then book their vacation. I guess skiing related Adsense figures will be higher between now and February than say between April and August.

Some of my sites has seen a drop. For example a site on camping is way down but I guess its seasonal.

The last couple of years they have been about the same (Nov. & Dec.). I expect this year will be the same also, I've already seen CTR picking up.

Maybe you could look into promoting new pages about "Winter Camping"?

I would never go camping in the winter, looks like others might be doing it.

Mine has signifacantly decrease by as much as 40 percent and some days it is horrible to say the least... but consolidation is that some of the clicks payouts are unseen to me.. At least to me... we're talking about anywhere from 4.88 to 7.92 per click..
That is the only positive for me.. though some days are so poor and clicks are just a few cents...

I had a brilliant October (50% increase on Sept) but November has been a huge disapointment. Im in Aus, and our dollar has appreciated so much against US$, so I am thinking that is a big factor, on top of a drop in traffic and drop in clicks and CTR. its a game of roller coasters.

So far my earnings are up about 10% compared to this time last month. And traffic is about the same. But, it fluctuates so much it's hard telling if this increase will remain...

I'm having a record month as well. A lot of my niches are kid product based so no doubt my increase is due to more searches and more clicks by people looking for deals. Although last year my income dropped of sharply after Jan 1. It did start to pick back up shortly after January.

I'm actually on track to maybe make $400 this month.... We'll see..

I never really understood why my Nov. & Dec months are always higher with Adsense. My niche is more of a service type niche than anything else.

If your site offer products related information then yes you will see an increase as shopping season has began.

I think that people overall are just online more in these months with shopping in mind. This would spill into the service industry as well.

Think like a buyer. Any product people would purchase for a Christmas present could work. Just like in January, anything related to weight loss is a good seller.

I have been doing Adsense for years and November has always been good for the majority of my niche markets. My stats show that January normally results in a slight dip. However things normally get back on track around the March, April time frame.

my adsense earnings are down but having a good month with amazon. My sites did drop but seem to be getting their rankings back. Whoop

I see no changes for clicks but i think you got more traffic and then more money through Adsense

The first week I had a decline. I changed the majority of sites to Amazon and have had a 4 figure month so far. Much better than Adsense by a mile.

I will leave these till the new year and revert back. I'll monitor it.

I've seen a slight increase for my product-related adsense sites recently. I'd chalk it up to being pre-Christmas traffic from visitors who are eager to buy.

I've had a little over 100 more clicks this month than last month, but I've made about 8% less, so go figure.
