So now I'm running wordpress blog and in All-In-One SEO pack I didn't set the feature to use noindex on tag archives, and if google index those pages it shows ULTRA DEAL of duplicate content within my site. Then people told me about that so I used noindex there, but google still has my tag archives indexed, even tho google crawler crawls my site daily and should have noticed ages ago I don't want to index tag archives anymore. How long will it take them to remove those pages?

Building links from high traffic sources can increase the chances of your site being indexed faster, as the Googlebot might explore your site through one of these links and index it. In my experience, if you build start consistent link building from some medium PR sources, you can expect to be indexed in a few days. EDIT: I just reread your post, I was a little hasty on the reply there. For Google to remove (i.e.- reindex) pages, it can take around 3 weeks.

Two weeks ago someone accused me of being a scammer due to an unfortunate series of events. There doesn't appear to be much that can be done to accelerate this process, and believe me, I've tried getting quite creative!

You could do a 301 redirect on your WP-Tag, then build a new backlink from a high PR5+ external page. Make the 301 point to your Index page, or whatever page you want... |

I'm having the same problem, I changed the no index archive pages setting in the all in one SEO pack plugin, so I guess I wait three weeks.
