Hi, I have a niche site already hosted online... and I want to install a Blog for this site. Apart from the domain name of my web site, Is it good for SEO to use: "mydomainsiteblog.com" for my blog ? As I already have the domain name of the site, I'll just add the word "blog" for this domain... Any advice plze ? |

It does not really matter. What matters most is what you do with the blog. I would not make it a complete separate website. I myself like domain.com/blog, so I have the option of putting content on the main page if I want to. I have also done 301 from domain.com to domain.com/blog. I think it looks and feels better to a visitor. You seem to want to do a page, plus blog, so domain.com/blog works and looks fine. Put as time and thinking into what goes into the blog as the worry about this and you may be successful. Paul |
