I have a static single page niche wordpress page. I have set all the all-in-one seo pack settings. I have the desired keywords throughout the the text. When I use Google's keyword tool for my page (www.*****.com) all i get for suggestions are TOTALLY unrelated terms regarding apache web servers and disney toys. This occurs every time I try. If is use (www.*****.com/) the keywords that show up are slightly different but still not even close to being relevant (still mostly apache and disney stuff) If I use (www.*****.com/index.php) I get some relevant keywords but none that I have chosen. I even get "ok" relevance for these terms even though they aren't used once in my blog text or seo settings. The keywords I have chosen show up as "poor" even though they are in the title and seo'd to death and peppered n the blog text. What am I doing wrong here? The site in question is my hypermiling site listed in my sig.

I've just recently purchased and established the domain. It's just so damn weird. I don't know is Hostgator runs apache or not. I love the theme but I may play around with others to see if there is any difference.

Hi Emmbee, Looks like google spidered your page before you had your home page setup. Take a look at the cached page and you will see what I mean. Have a little patience, they will be back around soon enough to grab your new home page. |

Ahh. I see that cached page has no info but that doesn't explain where the apache and disney stuff some from though, or why I'm getting "ok" quality keywords for terms not used in the blog or title. Thanks for the info though, I hope the issue is fixed when Google hits it again.

If you looked at that cached page, you would have noticed that Apache Server with version number was one of the few words on the page. The other phrase that probably triggered Disney stuff was the "Parent Directory" term.
