google indexing wordpress.org difficult?

Just wanting to know is it normal that after 1 week of sumbmitting sitemaps with 20 pages of unique content that google still dosent index it. It is a site about weight loss and is about aa week old so I was just wondering. Thanks austin

Its not natural but its not unnatural too. You should make some quality backlinks for your website to get indexed faster. Don't worry about it. It can be indexed only with some backlinks.

i also have a weightloss site ( weightlosstipstricks .com) - this site took over 1 month to get decent traffic.

So be patient! it will come.

Move onto something else and come back in a months time.

well im working on building backlinks in a matter of 1 week there are 22,000 search results when i type in site: www.losetheweightonline.com im just waiting for them to actually start showing linking status instead of just indexed. Ive published right over 200 spun articles on different subjects relating to content on my site, on web 2.0 websites, and social bookmarked/ pinged, submitted videos all the above, made $1.63 my first day of adsense on the website so i was extatic about that. The website is not done yet though, im terrible at making graphics so i really need to research a better way to make a cool looking logo instead of just text.

It happens all the time, i think the google bot got lazy the last few months, i'm also having trouble indexing blogger posts and other web 2.0 properties.

well i hope thats the case im reading of peoples sites getting indexed in 4 days after creations and thats not so in my case

Yes ..this is true some extent. Indexing is not so easy now as it used to be.
Still you can try some high alexa rank pligg news site and keep experimenting.

well figures google always does this to me, as soon as i post and complain they index my sites. I just checked and all my pages are indexed and the site is only 1 week only and im ranking on several keywords that get about 15,000 search traffic a month total. Goggle idk if i like you.
