Has Google Done Away With Pagerank? Wow.... Long Waiting Period!

I can't even remember when Google had their last major pagerank update its been a while usually they have 4 a year.

Not that it matters a great deal but does anyone know what's going on with Google's page rank update process? Any inside tips?

I am probably totally wrong, but I think "major" updates on a regular
basis are a thing of the past. I think they are shooting for more dynamic
PR. I have had some that have changed.

And besides, just because there is no movement does not mean no update.

But come on entrepreneurjay. You know better than to start this.

I've heard that Google hasn't updated toolbar/public PR since April, but I made some sites in July/August that got updated in September as if Google was doing the usual 4 a year. I'm not really sure what to think about it...

PR for me is not important as long as the keywords are number 1 in all search engine.

Obviously, but some people like me don't care about page rank in terms of ranking in the SERP but to see the trust google has in certain sites.

Yes, i too haven't seen the change over a long period of time, also not quite sure about whether there was any dynamic updates in between, nope, i dont think so, as i have tons of domains with varying PRs and i didn't see any changing, else every update i used to have many domains with fresh PRs and changes, so this makes me believe that they haven't done any.

PR is not over...PR plugin updates in the Google toolbar...are not a priority.

I think we will have a better idea as to whether they have stopped updating the Google toolbar (PR indicator) in the new year which is traditionally a PR update time.

Yeah, Google took a long time to update PR. Last time it was April. Still now sign of updating. I was expecting PR increase in October-November.

I agree. As long my keyphrase is in the top of search result, why worry about PR?

my opinion pagerank says nothing exept it looks good in your websiteportfolio.

technicaly PR has 0 meanings in terms of earnings

I like to see my PR to try to get as much of link portfolio to at least PR 0 as possible.
