Default Direct Linking Strategies (PPC / PPV)

Hello All,
Just would like to know which type of categories and offers are the best for direct linking for pay per click and pay per view campaigns. I already know google adwords doesn't like direct linking so take them out of the proportion. But using other paid traffic companies.

it depend on the offer you want to promote
direct link: offer with less fields and information
offer that the page and layout are clear and attractive

landing page: offer with more fields or pages to fill ,you can use landing page to attract your visitors.

Dating is stable niche that you may have success with in both PPC and PPV or CPV as it should be called.

Direct-linking means you are doing zero pre-selling. So for best results, only direct link to offers that either A. do their own pre-selling in the form of video sales presentations, free reports, etc., or B. are in niches that require little to no pre-selling.

A third approach is to focus your PPC efforts primarily on "product-focus" searches. You can conceptualize searches as being either for solutions not yet associated with products, or for products that the searcher already assumes will solve their problem.

Solution-focused searches require more pre-selling than product-focused searches.

Examples of solution-focused searches:
"get rid of pimples"
"how to speed up computer"
"lose weight"

Examples of product-focused searches:
"acne cream"
"registry cleaner program"
"jenny craig"

If I was going to direct link to an offer, I would bid mainly on product-focused search queries.

If you are unsure about a certain product or niche, would like to do some quick testing, and possibly make some quick money, use direct linking. Direct Linking can work quite well for some short term income.

If the niche shows itself to have some potential, then build a Landing Page, and tweak it until it converts really well.

If your Landing Page is working, convert it into a full blown Landing Site by adding a blog filled with solid article content.

A paid directory listing and a free directory listing can have the same indexing value so long as the category is specific to the site. However, you are more likely to achieve this by listing yourself in a category specific directory.

Yea -- do not use direct linking -- through Google Adwords. That's a fast way to get your account banned now days. I would check out media networks and e-mail networks. There are tons of advertising networks out there such as Facebook, Adknowledge, Pulse360.com, and etc. However, keep in mind, you need a decent margin to promote through these areas. Most affiliate offers will not work.

There are some tricks to direct binding. One is the creation of a framed redirect. This is an excellent way to test a campaign and see if you can make before creating a landing page.
