I have recently built an amazon site and I'm looking to get backlinks to it through article marketing. Can anyone tell me the top 10 article directories other than ezinearticles?

I just recently started using infobarrel and so far I like it. Another one I use ( instant live articles ) is snipsly.

Don't just limit yourself to article directories. You can get even better exposure when you submit articles directly to ezines in your niche market. Many of them will accept articles you can look around to find those that do.

Warrior forum article directory ![]() I am not a member myself but the results are kinda impressive: The Value of Using the Warrior Forum’s New Article Marketing Section I really don't like publishing to article directories. Why give my content to article directories when i can outrank them using my own website? I still su bit my articles though for different sources of traffic. |

From my perspective as an article marketer, there aren't 10 that are worth using regularly. It doesn't answer your question to say that, I know. I agree entirely that it's a mistake to limit yourself to article directories, but this doesn't really answer the question, either. Here's a list of the "top 50" article directories by traffic, page-rank (for what that's worth) and so on, if it helps. It's a slightly strange list: there are some sites on it which I wouldn't call "article directories", myself. | |

Thanks for the informations. Yah, I know that I should not limit myself to article directories but then how can I promote my site? Can anyone tell me how blog commenting works?

| Apologies for the incoherent ramble. I wasn't trying to hint obscurely at anything very profound. ![]() I used to use the same 7-ish article directories all the time, but I seem very gradually to be using slightly fewer now, so I perhaps ought to say I use the same 5-ish all the time. EZA and four others mentioned above - nothing unusual. I'm writing "for syndication" and not "for clicks", of course. My aim in using article directories is ... well ... you know the rest: the real benefits to my business come not so much from the article directory copies themselves but from the other sites where I can get my work syndicated, either on my own (by arrangement with people who've previously re-published my work from EZA and whom I've contacted to thank them and offer more) or just by other people taking and re-publishing it, which is what the directories are there for, obviously. |
