Ok... I'm wanting to build another site but many keywords I'm wanting to target have subdomain pages from the companies mentioned in the title. an example: Mens Sport Coats: According to Market Samurai, the top 10 companies are all big name companies Should I try of move on??? |

You'll have to check the top 3 results in the SERPs, & see how strong those individual pages are. You could always target a smaller niche. Example: "Mens Large Sport Coats" |

| It depends on the product/keyword. From my experience I've been able to breeze by Amazon and similar sites with relative ease. Just b/c you see Amazon or WalMart or Target on the first page, don't assume that you can't beat them in the SERPs. CHEERS! |

As long as the individual pages don't have high PR or a lot of links to them, I don't mind seeing the big name companies in the Top 10. They are usually pretty easy to overtake with a little on and off-page SEO.
