Hi, would appreciate some help here... Have an adwords account (2 years old) that I have already spent over $30k on... Campaigns were running fine until 2 days ago when all my ads stopped running I was able to top up the account with more money from my credit card but the ads are not running at all... Knowing google... if I write in, they are just going to feed me some stock reply that won't resolve this issue. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated... P.S. I have not changed anything in any of my campaigns... they are still receiving payment from me but they are not running my ads which is what's frustrating me... |

Any more details, what are you promoting? PM me the site. Have you used this account for anything dodgy in the past? If you still can't resolve it, I might get my account manager to take a quick look. |

I would call google and find out, asking in an affiliate forum is going to get all kinds of questions regarding those mentioned above. I read that you didn't want to do that but I still think that is your best option. |

Yeah. Call google. Now that's a good one. There are various reasons for ads to stop showing. The first one that came to mind when I read the question, was that this is a silly season and lots (read: tons) of big spenders across the board want their ads to be shown. A lot (read: tons) of users may see a radical dip. Your only hope may be to substantially raise the bidding. Your ad is probably showing down the food chain. Well down after page 2. Or even 3. When that happens, the chances of your ad being shown is slim to none. Of course there are other things to consider, but related to the above. Higher QS adwords users are going for more keywords at this time. I would certainly check my QS and performance. And the possible: your ad was disapproved. That's really it. There are no more possibilities. You are being outbidded, your QS starts to suck, your ads are now not approved. I never tell people to try and find their ads. But this is a case where you might try and find it. However, each showing without a click can lower QS. It's just a circle. Let us know anything. I'm sure others would like to know how this pans out. I got an response from google already... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I was running some campaigns on my 2 year+ adwords account and it was running fine... google chalked up $600+ on those campaigns and then suddenly no more ad impressions... I tried to top up the account and they accepted payment but still my ads weren't showing. Then I sent in an email to them and got back a "Please refer to these FAQs" standard response. After ding-donging here and there, finally someone looked into it and told me the account got suspended/disabled because there were ads that pointed to domains that were "inappropriate"... basically those are domains owned by very legitimate internet marketers. And without any warning, without any explanation, without any 2nd chances (by the time i wrote in, I already paused all my campaigns), they told me I'm banned for life. So tell me... Google... wasn't your motto "Don't be evil"? ***** Google's response to ads not running: Thank you for your email. We apologize for the delayed response. Google AdWords is experiencing rapid growth. We're doing our best to respond to all email requests within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). Thank you for your patience. I understand you are concerned about your ads not showing. Let me check it for you. Your Google AdWords account has been suspended due to submissions of ads, for the sites, 'abc.com', 'xyz.com', and '123.com' (domain names changed due to protect the innocent) that promote an Unacceptable Business Practice. In response to the many complaints that we have received from users and publishers, we've decided not to allow ads which promote "get rich quick" sites. As you know, we are committed to making the AdWords experience safe and effective for our users and our advertisers. We disabled your AdWords account after a review of your landing page quality evaluations because we believe that this kind of poor-quality site creates a seriously negative or possibly harmful user experience. The decision to disable your AdWords account was not taken lightly, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Your ads will no longer run on Google. Future accounts you open will also be suspended. While we regret any frustration or disruption this update may cause, providing our users with the highest quality ads is integral to the long-term success of our program. As noted in our advertising Terms and Conditions, Google may refuse any ads or terminate any of your ad campaigns at any time, for any reason. You can find links to additional information about our advertising policies and landing page guidelines below: * AdWords Advertising Policies: AdWords Help * Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines: Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines - AdWords Help To view our Terms and Conditions, please visit https://adwords.google.com/select/tsandcsfinder. Boy! What a slam..... These posts have become so frequent that its made me very reluctant to re-energize any PPC campaigns (and I was considering it to get some fast traffic). That's too bad. |

Check those domains for a conditional hack.... get a Firefox plugin or however you want to do it but VIEW YOUR SITE with the user agent set to Google Bot. There are many ways you can view a site as a Google bot. One also being to view the Google cache page of the site. I was hit by this and it turned out to be what is called a Conditional Hack. Ended up being in my footer of the site where there was a function for year that in normal browser view was fine but viewing as a google bot was a long list of very nasty porn sites. Worth at least looking as once you remove the contaminated function or functions and the links stop posting you can file for a reinstatement. Once i removed the links i was back on in 2 days. Took me many sleepless hours and a great deal of help from the Google forum to get it strait. Hopefully this will be a easy fix for you. |
