this is really strange... I used the "site" command in yahoo.com to see my inbound links for: site:zerolimitsgenereview.com It shows 68 backlinks. this is a big jump from a week or so ago. The strange thing is that the majority are from pages that don't seem to have a link to my site at all. The majority are from another person's blog on which I have only left 1 maybe 2 comments. when I visit those pages that supposedly have a links to my site, I don't see any links. Another weird thing... one of my so call back links is from a blog where I posted a comment. But that blog has the nofollow setting (did when I left the commant and does now). Maybe when that blog happened to be spidered, the dofollow setting was on?? I doubt it, but could be. Makes me not want to trust the "site" command. Or is that stuff normal? Anyone know of another tool for measuring your back links? Thanks so much, Donna |

The most consistent method for checking I've found is doing a search at Yahoo like this: linkdomain:'yourdomain' |

There are 101 ways to do it, best thing to do is to try a few well known sources, guaranteed they will come out with different results though!
