Hey guys, Just wondering... Let's say you have a simple squeeze page, and you would want organic traffic sent to it... how do you SEO that? We'll assume the squeeze page is: hxxp://awesomeproduct.com And this is where I want all the traffic to go to. It's a simple one page site, designed to gather leads (name + email = aweber). It does not have navigation, nor plugins for SEO, nothing. Would I want to create say: hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog And write posts, articles, backlinks, etc.. to that? I'm quite confused about how to build the site's structure so it all works together. Hints and tips will be much appreciated! Thanks ![]() / JEFF |

Hey Jeff, The first thing you need to do is make sure all your on-site SEO is optimized in the proper way for your main keywords. Your homepage needs to include anchor text for all the keywords you want to get ranked on. This will tie in the backlinks you create with anchor text to your website and help the SERPS identify what your website is all about. The second main aspect is backlinks and lots of them with anchor text and lots of keyword variation. For backlinks there are two sites i use, ODesk which probably wouldent be good for a newbie as you must manage your own team and make sure they are doing things the way they should be done. The second is Backlinkteam.com which manages massive off-shore teams and will manage your project for you. This is probably your best option and they are very reasonable with a typicall man hour only costing around $3.50 per hour. Not much different than ODesk or Freelancer. Hope that helps and good luck with everything. Thanks |

You do everything that you would have done as If it was regular blog/site. 1) On-page SEO 2) Backlinks with keyword anchor-text from high PR pages. |

| Yeah I still would like to know, if anyone has tried this, would very much appreciate it. Someone once said that you can have hxxp://yoursite.com as the squeeze page and hxxp://yoursite.com/blog as SEO in the form of articles, backlinks, etc.. Of course, I know how to make backlinks to the squeeze page, I'm more interested in the site's structure here, and how each part interact with the others.

Proper h1, h2 tags and backlinks with your desired anchor text pointed at the URL of the squeeze page. My squeeze page ranks higher than my TLD for some terms.

You can create a skeliton site with "/blog" posts targeting many different keywords that all link back to your squeeze page, or you can link directly to your squeeze page. If the squeeze page is where you want all the traffic, here's what I would be doing: hxxp://awesomeproduct.com (squeeze) <---- 80% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post1 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post2 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post3 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post4 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post5 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post6 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post7 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post8 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post9 <---- 2% of your backlinking efforts hxxp://awesomeproduct.com/blog/post10<---- 2% of your backlinking efforts This is just an example. Google loves content, but at the same time, if you want your squeeze page ranking focus mostly on backlinking DIRECTLY to it. Regarding onpage SEO Make sure your squeeze page contains your keyword(s) between 1%-%4 of the body. For example, if you have an 800 word squeeze page, use your keyword around 8-12 times. Try to put it in h1, h2, or h3 tags, format it (bold, italics, underline) where appropriate. If you can have it in your domain name, even better. Despite all this, backlinking must be the focussing point to increase your organic traffic. |

May be you can create the blog with a sidebar widget having link to your squeeze page. This way, all your posts will have a link to the squeeze page. You can also do this in the footer of your blog - thus passing link juice to your squeeze page from everywhere. Structure can be like this: httX://yoursqueezepage.com - your squeeze page here httX://yoursqueezepage.com/targetkeyword - place your blog here And then promote - create backlinks - for both squeeze page and blog posts. You will get the maximum juice for your squeeze page and it should outrank everything else. |

A squeeze page is created to grab the attention of the visitor and/or to know his views about products/services. Your squeeze page should have following elements: 1. Captivating Healing that gives the idea of the product or services. 2. Offer "free offers" to your visitors. 3. Make your page short and sweet. 4. Form on your squeeze page should not have too many form-fields 5. Don't provide too much information on your squeeze page. 6. Don't provide any external links on page |

It largely depends on the keyword(s) you are promoting. If you would like to promote just one keyword with your squeeze page, you could point your links to the squeeze page using the respective anchor text, however, ranking a squeeze page may be a hard task to accomplish, because they usually don't contain too much text content, which is the most important on-page SEO factor. Like you said, it's good to have a blog feed on your site and add content to your site this way. I would also link from your blog posts to the home page of your site, to your squeeze using the main anchor text to tell Google what is the most important page of your site (which is, of course, your SP). - Trev |

One page sites dont rank very well. If you run some searches on say, popular clickbank products, youll find alot of what LOOK like one page landers. But run a search on those domains after. The general seems to be to add a secondary blog, which cant be reached from the homepage (Your lander.) Fill it with content on a time delay. |
