I'll explain. Let's talk link building for a sec, what is the best way you think? Should I publish articles in EZ for example, giving me a lot of articles from the same IP or should I publish on various article directories like base articles, go articles and so on, giving me articles from various IP's. Does it matter? What is the weight here? Thanks guys... |

Depends on the strategy and type of website to some extent but generally you want to keep things fairly natural for the long term. Also think about are your article submissions for traffic, links, or both? Keyword optimized niche sites don't always need that many links, but consistent natural linking patterns work best with my larger sites so a variety of links with some good quality ones works well. It doesn't matter if you publish your articles under the same IP.. Just get these published to as many article directories as you can so that these will be syndicated all over the net.. Eventually, other people will be building backlinks for you..

Well, my sites are niche sites and I try to promote them to Google's first page, some are already there, other are on page 2. My initial thought was submitting the articles for backlinks only but then I saw I have traffic from those directories as well (not a lot but not bad), so of-course I write a quality article for the reader and not just throw away links on "a" article. So what you're saying, is keep building links from articles here and there, blogs commenting and so on? How many a day? Thank you! | |

In my opinion, its better that you submit your articles to different article directories. I don't say it because of having same IP address. Its better that you get backlinks from different websites with each IP. Same or different IPs.

It is not a good idea to stick with only one article directory site, post your article in different article directories. It will maximums the probability of getting more traffic from the same article as well as backlinks from different sites ( or IP's). Other than this you can also consider Link-wheel as an second option for your main website (just set is as DoFollow blogs), create accounts in different free blog hosting sites, and put different articles on each blog in an regular interval. Hence, you will have full control on back-links and also on anchor text.
