blank links?

Hi all, i'm a real newb here but have a question. I was having a look at squidoo to see what kind of links they have.

I noticed on a few pages there were regular anchor tag links but they didn't link out. They acted like a link, when you hovered over yet the url was blank. Now is this a tactic or did they just forget to put in the url?

Squidoo - I guess I can't answer your questions directly, but they have link blocks where you can describe your backlink and then also RSS feeds when you can also create a backlink. It's possible the RSS feed just didn't have a title.

Do you want to insert links to your squidoo lenses? If you want to do that, just from modules in the right side of page click on link module and add it to your squidoo lens. Then you can edit it with any title and link you want. I hope i understood your question well.
