Hello folks, I found a keyword before I try something I'd like to see some advices from you great guys on this wonderful forum Keyword details: - 14,000,000 results (broad) - 4,600 (competition) - 581 (allintitle ![]() Page 1 (PR0,PR3,PR0,PR2,PR0,n/a,PR0,n/a,n/a,n/a) What grabbed my attention was the competition and the page rank, there's nothing over PR3. I wouldn't like to waste my time trying something that I couldn't get nowhere. If any of you already tried something similar, would you mind to share your thoughts on this thread? Thanks |

There are some points: 1) Pagerank is not the most important factor for finding the amount of competition for keywords. 2) Its possible that a keywords has million of results, but this keyword be low competition. But it seems that the keyword is not competitive and you can start ranking for it. |

Also, check your competitors backlinks ( anchor text and number of backlinks ) and on page optimization.

With that kind of pr, yes you can outrank them. I don't know about other but from my past experience, page rank and domain age are 2 most important factor beside Title Tag.

Look individually at the sites on the first page (and even second). That is your real competition.

I don't know what niche your keyword is in but remember that little competition may also mean low ROI. |

Almost anything can be outranked. Just have to work at it and give it time.

By the way guys, I didn't use any keyword tools such as google keyword tools, market samurai, micro niche finder,etc... Just went to google and find the keyword on wonder wheel and clicked on seoquake to check the competition PR and backlinks...

Just follow the basic SEO guidelines of Google. To know how to get the free PDF file from Google, just type this phase "google basic seo guidelines" on the Google search box. I hope this will help. |

-->1) Pagerank is not the most important factor for finding the amount of competition for keywords. I agree with this. because because aiming a High PR is not the most important. |

I will recommend you to choose the keywords that are less competitive and could generate good traffic.

I wouldn't attempt this as your first go. However, if you have had some experience ranking easier keywords then you may want to try it. However, it still sounds to be a pretty hard keyword to rank for. |

I think Google never gives us accurate results,I think I should try and see what can happen,at least I'll get some experience and I'll know if is worth or not by myself... Amazing... just checked before write this post the competition is already going up.(less than 24 hours) in quotes - 4790 allintitle - 602 results - 14,200,000/ 13,800,000 As you can see, the results change every second. Now I wonder The results are really changing or google are playing with us???? |
