Are backlinks really matters?

Hello Friends,

You might have seen that websites with less backlinks are ranked on top positions in Search Engines. Some of them are brand new websites so there is no issue of also Domain Age.

So search engines have less value for backlinks? are backlinks really important? If important, Why?

Honestly I think backlinks are 95% of Googles decision making power when showing your site in the SERP's... I have a website that was only two weeks old, no on site SEO to speak of and the day the URL was indexed was already ranked on 35 Keywords... How? I had a team of 20 People creating high quality backlinks for me for those two weeks. The best way to show up are listed below.
1. Create Backlinks with Anchor text
2. Vary the keywords you use and make sure you use a lot of variation (very Important)
3. Vary the types of links you create, you want a lot of articles, Blog and Forum Comments, Sig links, High PR Links, Directory listings, Social bookmarking, etc..
4. Quantity always beats Quality - there is a lot of speculation on this but its my experience that the more backlinks you have the better off you are and the quicker you show up in ther serps. I would say, you do need to follow the rest of the suggestions for this to really be true.
5. Get a big team, hire a big team on ODesk or get a package on Backlinkteam.
6. Consistency is paramount to long term success and improving your rankings. In SEM having more than anyone else is the ultimate key to success.
7. Dont give up - Keep plugging away at it until you get it right because in the end there is a lot of money out on the table for the taking.

If you make quality backlinks for your website, your website ranks high in search engines.
And if yo make low quality backlinks for your website, your website will be dropped in SERP a lot.

Thats bad info, there have been lots of sites with terrible links that still get ranked. I think there is a huge myth that people think relevancy is KEY to pulling up in the serps. Honest truth is that having a lot of backlink variation and keyword variation in your anchor text trumph anything else you can do for your website, i had a website that got ranked on 35+ Keywords the day the URL was indexed by Google and it was all because i bought a $4k backlink package from backlinkteam. Litterally with two weeks worth of work by about 20 people and 18K Backlinks we were able to show up on one word keywords directly related to our industry. Honestly probably only one percent of the backlinks created were what would be considered "Quality" Backlinks in terms of relevancy. Now they were all good backlinks from a purely technical standpoint not related to relevancy. that probably wont make any sense when you read it lol

This isn't true. It's all based on the competition of the keywords you're trying to rank for. I've got pages with #1 rankings and 0 backlinks. Why? Because there are so few people trying to rank for those keywords that good onpage SEO and a exact match domain (well, page) beats out all the pages that happen to rank for that keyword, but have not built any links with that anchor text and have not specifically targeted their on page SEO towards those keywords. So you don't need backlinks to just rank in search engines. You do need them if you happen to be targeting keywords with competition though.

I really think backlinks are very important. I have seen a big jump in my google ranking after doing some quality link building. Also the harder the keyword to rank the more backlinks you will need to compete.

Anchor text in your backlinks coupled with 100% original text wins the race just about every time. Backlinks with anchor text are far more important though. I've ranked many pages with content from other sites on page 1 for my keyword time and time again with backlinks.

this can increase the traffic to your website.

yeah there are some sites with low backlinks with high PR. they must have concentrated on forums, directory submissions.

but gettn backlinks to increase the PR is considered as easy way to increase the PR.
