I've been researching IM for more than 5 years now. Just recently decided to jump in with both feet. (Building numerous Affiliate Sites). But I've got to say....I feel like I'm being pulled in so many different directions when It comes to Building an IM business the most efficient and effective way ![]() I'm used to investigating and doing heavy research...I've been a college student for over 8 years and I just Graduated from business school with an MBA. But in this game..... I hear things like... Build links slowly...NO, build FAST!!! or... Ya can't make money unless you have 10,000 exact searches a month for your key word... NO!!! only 1,000 searches a month!!!!! This is just a few examples of many of how there is such a polarized few on this subject. Is there no universal way??? A person can loose their sanity trying to learn this gig...ya know!!! |

Remember this! ![]() A website hosted on it's own domain (like your sites) can be sold. I see new sites all the time being sold with no proof of income per site. I'm not saying you should sell your sites now. However, with IM you always have options to generate $$. Sometimes you have to step back & look at things from another angle (example: would someone else be interested in buying this site). Bottom line is ANYTHING that has traffic can be sold! IM revolves around two things, traffic + products. | |

Take a step back, make a plan and stick with it. Take one of the sites from your signature, and work on it until you profit form it. Only then, when this site is profitable, think about your next site. Let's take your portable gas generators site: portable generator reviews gets 1600 exact searches monthly, and you can rank easily for it with some work. You said somewhere else you have MS: check the SEO competition for this and you'll see what I am talking about. Create a comparison page of the best portable generators and work on ranking it for this phrase. Then work on writing a good review for each of the generators on that page (link from that page to both the individual reviews, as well as to Amazon). You'll see results faster than if you try to build several sites at the same time. Good luck! |

One more thing: I see you have a page for the "All Power America APG3014 2,000 Watt 4-Stroke Gas Powered Portable Generator" Did a quick research in the Google keyword tool and came up with this: [all power america] 720 [all power america generator] 210 [all power america portable generator] 110 [all power america apg3014] 91 [all power america generator review] 36 That's over 1000 exact searches for very specific key phrases: build some links with those key phrases in the anchor text and you'll start getting some very qualified visitors to your page. Again, check the SEO competition in MS for the above and you'll see it's very easy to rank ![]() Then do this type of analysis to your other reviews, and repeat link building to those. |
