Is this google dance or far more evil?

Hi

I did a SEO linkperamyd on my site 2 weeks ago. When finihed implementing my site was on #7 for it's main keyword. One week later it has dropped to around #170. Now one week later I check that my site is not in top 1000 of google for that specific keyword.

I also see that other keywords have moved up in the rankings during the last week, while main keyword has dropped out of top 1000. I also did a site:domain.com check in google and there the page which has dropped out of top 1000 was nowhere to see, deindexed?

Anyone here have some ideas what this mean? Is it just google dancing or is my site deindexed for it's main keyword?

Its like dancing or penalizing. De-indexing pages with losing ranking shows you did something wrong for promoting your website. I think you made a lot of backlinks for your website in a short time or you made backlinks for it from low quality pages or duplicate contents? Which of them?

I have no idea what is involved in a link peramyd (pyramid?) . If it was a short burst of links and an overnight rise, and now you are gone, I am not surprised. I guess the phrase easy come, easy go, applies to seo and link building too.

just wait and see...if the condition persists, try remove all the backlink you have built.

I agree, just wait and see if the problem continues. it might be that you don't have good quality content or that your site is not yet stable.
