Default No more PR updates?

It seems pretty obvious that Google has all but abandoned Toolbar Page Rank. I know some minor changes took place in September, but it seems the major update is still waiting.

So what's up?

Will SEO'ers and linkbuilders have to spend a lot of time convincing people to swap links with PR N/A sites? Kind of annoying, since most people still price their sites from Page Rank.

Honestly, it would be better to just do away with toolbar PR alltogether. No one uses it but SEO'ers and talented SEO'ers do not need PR to check a sites value.

Almost all webmasters are waiting for this pagerank update but i think we should wait one or two months more. But as you know pagerank is not the most important factor and it became clear for most webmasters. But as you said, many of us like to see the changes in our pagerank.

But I don't want to come across as rude, so I'm only going to secondarily reference what I could have said, rather than actually saying it.

I think PR updates are happening on an individual website basis instead of updating all at one date. I've seen one my PR2 domains climb to a PR3 within the last 2 weeks. I've seen other websites I visit in the past 2 months go up or down in PR. However, I don't see any bunch of sites going up or down at once. Just happening at random now. Maybe the update all at once is gone?

Pagerank is not a priority and will never be a priority for Google. They'll just take care of it whenever they get to it.

Yeah, but those that know how to actually use it already know what the PR for each site is (not just from the last update) are taking advantage of this information every single day.

They All Told Me Making Money Online Was Just A Scam For The Gullible... Even Though I Was Already Pulling In $1k/Day. Now You Say My Resellers Can Not Make $1k/day But...
