I'm confused why my Adwords ad was disapproved. I'm advertising a free roofing contractor hiring guide and the keywords I'm targeting are roofing contractors, etc. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks. |

Did you write your ad according to Google terms and did Google publish it and then after some days remove it?

It may be your landing page quality/content. How to find out reason for disapproval: https://adwords.google.com/support/a...&answer=146675 Ad guidelines: AdWords Help |

I figured it out. They wanted the display URL the same as the landing page URL. Thanks for responding. |

Now I found out that my longtail domain is too long for the display url and google apparently wants an exact match of display url and landing page url as I've tried every possible abbreviation but they won't accept it. Anyone know a work around for this? Is it possible to do a redirect from another domain? Thanks.

The domain name as showing in your ad (4th line) must be the same as the domain where the click eventually lands after all redirects. So if you use mywebsite.com in your ad, if Google doesn't see that domain in the browser's address bar, it is invalid. The display URL is 35 characters, long enough for 99% of sites out there. If yours is too long, you won't be able to use Adwords for it and you'll have to get a shorter domain.

I'm not sure if it's allowed, but see if you can use goo.gl.

you have 35 chars so it must be a long name that is for sure, its best to aim for words that have 15 chars as a premium length and with a variance of 5 giving a range of < 10 ( 15 ) 20 > / if you intend to rename. | |
