|  As of recent my simple Adsense sites are taking forever to load. Why?
My sites that are supposed to be fast-loading recently started loading super slow. I've even got the WP Cache plugin on them which is supposed to improve speed. Is this a problem with my server/hosting or the site itself?

If it is above like 2 or 3 seconds, then yes it needs to be improved. If it is above that speed then you should talk to your host. Lots of time on shared hosting (hostgator/bluehost), 1 site on the server can cause all the rest of the sites to slow down. For example, if there is someone running a file sharing or porn tube site on the same server as you, it can slow you down tremendously. Talk to your host if your load time is taking too long. Use the tool to make sure that it is the site and not just your internet connection or computer. Also, check out a WP plugin called Wp-optimize. It will delete all post revisions, clean your database, and clean up your comments. Everytime you edit a post, it creates a revision and if you've had a site around for awhile, you can have 100s of post revisions clogging up your WP install. | |

Are you able to try with a test page without adsense on it? It might be your web hosting problem. My site still loads fast with a lot of adsense ad on it.

I find that when I enable image ads, I get slow loads too. When it"s only text it loads super fast. I disabled images, now it loads quick.

As I recall, your sites had a lot of images on them. Check the image size for one thing.
