Default If I Remove My Articles From EzineArticles.com?

OK Guys, so i have been thinking. I have a pretty big website that I have been building up pretty substantial content for.

I have about 20 articles on Ezine articles that i would like to put onto my site, and take off of ezine articles.

I guess the question i have is, If i delete these articles from ezine, and post them on my site, will i get credit for them in the rankings?

Thanks

Rob

Yes, absolutely. I recently did the same thing with a bunch of articles from ArticlesBase.. Didn't take more than a few days for them to disappear in Google, and get indexed (and ranking) on my site instead.

I would just leave it asit is as they are valuable back links as well. Just write more similar articles for your site and get even more G love.

Ok, I thought so, but just wanted to be sure. did you wait until they vanished from the Google rankings, or just remove and repost on your site the same day?

thanks for your help.

Yeah, the problem is the links in my ezine articles resource box are directing to a product i no longer sell.

I guess I could just change those links to my current product, but that is becoming more of a nuisance than anything else.

I would really rather just have the articles on my site, giving me a larger, more established website.

Thanks for your input.

Yea, I would just rewrite (or pay a writer) to rewrite all the articles for your own site and change the links to the new pages.

You will probably want to submit more content to Ezines for backlinks in the future so why not think long term and leave them there?

If you do decide to take them off, just wait until Google has de-indexed them so that you don't have any problems.

You might also want to do a search on Copyscape for more versions of your article before posting on your own site.. It's likely that other webmasters have seen your articles and added them to their own sites!

Yeah I actually just took snippets from my article and put it into google to see if anyone has copied it. I would say about 70 % of my articles have been reproduced by some other site, so i wont use them. Thanks for your help.

No probs, that's a great sign of the quality you are writing and means you will be getting natural backlinks while building your site. (just change those expired links) haha.

I would suggest not to remove them from ezine as the articles you post on ezine will have its own power and will have organic links pointing to the article. Those articles are worth keeping as they would increase its power with time.

If you really don't like pointing the links from ezine to your site, remove the articles that are not yet indexed in any other websites and include them in your website. Keep the rest safe at ezine. You can use them for future link building purposes which would really be a valuable asset.

I think you can do it and Google indexes this page too but it takes some time that Google knows it as unique as it should delete the previous Ezine article from its database and then your article will be known as unique.

I agree. It is better if you also build backlinks coming from your site. Always remember: content is king. Keep it up!
