My Adwords ads show up differently in IE versus Firefox. For example, Google might tell me my average position is 3.8 and when I check in IE a few times throughout the day it appears to be pretty accurate, yet when doing the same throughout the day in Firefox I always show up number 1 or 2. Also, competitors ads show up with certain titles in IE while as much as I may check in Firefox they are different. If they are different titles rotating surely I should see the ones that show up in IE in Firefox sometimes and vice versa but I don't. If anyone knows, why does that happen? Thanks. |

| Don has a great point. Google is moving towards a more personalized way of showing you information based on your search history so try logging out of Google first and/or use a different computer to see if you get different results. Secondly, regarding the ads themselves, ads are constantly jockeying for position...if you reload a page you just searched on, you'll see different results depending upon how competitive your market is. I would guess that even if you reload your ads in the same browser, you'll see different results there as well. I wouldn't chalk it up to just the different browser. |

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I really appreciate it. Yea, I realize the results will often be different every time I check but sometimes they will always be a certain way in one browser than the next. Disabling personalized search - didn't even know it existed :-) I'll look into that or just simply log out of Google. Yea, I've been using different elite proxies. Maybe the personalization is it. I was logged into Google with one browser and not the other. Duh, thanks for the smack in the face :-) |

I'm just coming back to say it didn't seem to work. So I still don't know what the deal is. But thanks to everyone who replied to help just the same. I appreciate the time you took.
