Anyone know what Angela is talking about?

Angela put this quote in her newest packet and i wondered if anyone knows what she means, or is it just another marketing ploy??

I have no idea to be honest, but one of the main things that ruin IM newbies are these full-of-hype latest strategy to get to the top of the SERPs. Things like this are normally a waste of cash and a LOT of people get sucked into them with no results.

SEO is basically about backlinking, follow the advice of the many reputable people on this forum and you won't ever need to pay a cent in training products.

I agree with you, but to be fair you cant say Angela charges much for her backlink packets- to me its well worth 5$ for 30 or so links, its peanuts. I find the rest myself.

And as for the get rich quick schemes, there are tons on here. Ive just had an email from Sean Donahoe saying this guy earns "$16000" per month" for not much work it implies.

I've been following every adsense / seo course/thread for a few years now, and can tell you hands down if you can find an untapped source of do-follow pr6/7/8 that google hasn't discounted, you can pop yourself up 50-150 rankings, and if you can keep up with this idea, it's not so hard to get a #1-3 ranking with just a few hours work...but the trick is to find all the sources where this info becomes available, because people spam them right away, and it draws the G attention, killing it for everyone...so in that respect, it's a little like the black h@t stuff...build it, earn, burns...build it, earn, burns...

But if you take this concept, and do a few of these a month, and do the other long term stuff...then you can rise to a #1 ranking and keep it.

Kinda nice to hear she's found one, and announced it to her loyal subscribers...but expect it to change in the next 4 months, as it always does.

@lotr, yeah that rant was meant to be at the general hyped up ranking domination emails we all get from time to time. I can't comment on Angela's links, they seem cheap enough, however I have heard they can be heavily saturated, not sure if that's true though.

Most likely she is talking about registering a profile on a .edu PR8 domain, which is no great accomplishment IMO. Then she is probably referring to indexing the profile backlinks using other methods than pinging and RSS.

I've discovered that about 10% of all profile backlinks you create get naturally indexed. Therefore 90% of your effort is thrown away unless you are doing something to get credit for these backlinks.

Essentially she is going to tell you what some of the other guys I know having been doing for a number of months.

Exactly dadamson, the only trouble with Angela links is she (we) is a victim of her own success. There are so many idiots who just ruin a lot of the sites she lists. But i have found her links to work for me, even with the muppets spamming some of them to death.

She keeps threatening to only give the best links ot her outsourcers and only give us the lower pr sites, but its like throwing money away i suppose.

Ive looked at Angelas offer, but it doesnt detail anything other than getting the .edu site? Im just wondering whats in store?

i think angelas links are pretty cool. however I don't like doing them by hand. I would rather pay someone to do it for me definietely. She gives great customer service though. responds to my questions in 24 hours tops each and every time.
