Best Source of Traffic

Hi,

what do you think is the most profitable traffic for Adsense sites other than organic search engine traffic .

This could be a range of things.

The key here is to target the niche and make sure your site is structured well so the Adsense is showing totally relevant ads.

If your webpages are not structured well they will be showing ads that are irrelevant.

Just making this one change can get you more clicks as people come to your site looking for answers.

If you went to a blog in your niche and posted a comment about something in your niche and then someone clicks it, they have obviously clicked the link because they are interested in what you have said in the comment.

So, if your link goes to one of your webpages that is relevant to the comment, and the Adsense ads are showing the same relevant ads, then you are more likely to get the clicks.

Really, it is about structuring your site and pages well and then directing the traffic from any traffic source in any niche. Although some free traffic methods work better than others.

Just make sure you direct them to the relevant page.

Yes - Getting Organic traffic seems to convert better as the person who has found your site has been looking exactly for what you are selling.

As you said to get the most you must have highly targeted traffic which are looking for your website .

But going back to the OP, like you said, best traffic for adsense is organic S.E traffic.

In my experience, I haven't found anything else that clicks at a reasonable rate (unless of course you're doing arbitrage, which is risky).

There is no doubt, targeted traffic is the best. You can get traffic from social sites but most of them are not targeted and might not give you good result. stay put with quality contect on your site.

I would go with targeted traffic from search engines and your own lists.

Search engine traffic is best, but backlinks from related websites that have plenty of targeted traffic works well too. That would include article marketing, buying links, paid reviews, paid directories that have a lot of traffic (Yahoo, Business.com Local.com, etc) news releases and social video marketing to name but a few.

Create a blog on a topic you like to write about. Add adsense and register your blog with the various Blog Search engines.

Here is a great resource for that

With each post you will be notifying of new content
to sites like Technorati.com

Over 2/3 of my blog traffic comes from there and it not
orgainic search results.

If you use wordpress, get one of the social network
plugins that add links to digg, etc to each post.

This makes it easy to share your posts on the networks.

If your post is good, you can get a flood of traffic.

I had one post that generated over 2000 visitors in less then
2 hours.
