Can a KW be banned or "blocked" via anchor texting?

Hi there,

I am having problems with a word. Mcdonalds!

I have many ezine articles as well as hundreds of other articles on various blogs/article directories. And when I say hundreds I mean hundreds.

The number of backlinks shown by Yahoo Site Explorer... 0 !!! It has been showing 0 for over a month now. I do get backlinks from social bookmarking sites, but all article directories ( my own original content and all ) 0.

Is there a catch or am I missing sth here ?

The spiders won't care. YSE is being made redundant so that might have something to do with it. Check out blekko.com or even download the free version of SEO Spy Glass and see if some of the other engines are picking up the links.

Some of your links should be showing up though... Have you checked webmaster tools for site errors and your robots.txt? There may be something fundamentally wrong going on.

I really agree with it happens we are doing work on our site or particular page but robot.txt tag has given interaction to no index or no follow that page. For back link I also suggest you to participate in forums and comment on do follow blogs. It really works...
