ADSENSE PAY PER IMPRESSION

Fellow warriors, i heard google pays per impression
Does it mean if 3000 people visits my site i would be paid
$0.05 by google? please someone explain this.

I also heard it works mostly with parked domains alone

Google mainly pay their publishers Per Click. Some advertisers do prefer the CPM model though - not many though.

AdSense works best on content based sites, but I hear their domain service is pretty good also.

Pay per impression payouts with google are insanely low. Literally 2-3cents per 1000 impressions.

This happens with image ads, but it can also happen when advertisers are targeting your site specifically using placement targeting for their ads.

The CPM advertisers must compete in the same auction as the CPC advertisers - Google actually converts the bids to a CPM based score before awarding the 'winner'. If you are only getting $0.02/1000 impressions then the CPC should be low too.

The CPM based ads are paying about $30/1000 across my sites while the CPC are paying $50.

Actually you heard wrong.

I get paid by impressions by some advertisers across certain ad types for several of my sites. It actually works out ok because one of the sites where I get paid CPM style has a very low CTR but tons of traffic.

Shalom,

Google uses both methods. They pay people "per impression" OR "pay per click". It is decided by the people placing the ads on your site - you have no control on it.

They both pay well if your site is good. With the "pay per impression" advertisers I personally get paid about $30 for every 1000 visitors.

The majority of ads are "pay per click" though.
