I want to share a tool with everyone that I use pretty much every day. It's made my SEO so much quicker and simpler. Have you ever gone into a website's HTML source to check if a link was dofollow or nofollow? Well, if you have Firefox, there's an easier solution. Download this plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687/ Just switch it on and all the links on the page will be highlighted in red (nofollow) or blue (dofollow). Like so: ![]() Hope this is of some use to all you link-hungry warriors. |

Nice link. I just want to stress that dofollow links are not everything. You need to diversify and get some nofollow links as well to ensure your link building strategy is natural. |

And some pages that don't use nofollow are completely useless and a waste of time. Now if there was a plugin for that.... Paul |

Everyone stressing natural needs to think long and hard about what actually looks natural. Chaos and randomness. I wouldn't encourage anyone to be going after nofollow links unless it is for traffic. | |

Thanks for the link Brandonbaker, as everyone suggested, it is not necessary that we should run behind do-follow links. No follow links also have their own importance, considering the spiders..

Thanks, Brandon. It's appreciated. Just wanted to add that once you have the plugin installed, right click on the page (any page) and check the words "NoDoFollow". To stop seeing if a link is DoFollow or not, just right click again, and uncheck "NoDoFollow". Good Luck, Sara |

Really nice addon. I also use it. But I noticed that Bing and Yahoo also index nofollow links, so I don't use only dofollow links. |

I use SEOquake and MOZbar addons. They also highlight nofollows and have more functions then this addon.

@brandonbaker Thanks for sharing with us but currently I am using 'Search Status' with the help of this tool, you can check do follow or no follow links, can track IP Address, keyword density or robot of the webpage etc. You must try at once, it is also a good tool for SEO work.

Thanks to all. This makes it clearer for me about "no follow" and "do follow" links. I believe I will try to mix them up. I'm currently using SEOquake. |
