2 accounts for one site: one account password lost

For this website i had an account i havent used for nearly a year and i lost the password. I want to start up a new campaign so now i created a new account.

I've read that Google penalizes doublicate accounts even with closing down.
How can i solve this problem? The old account is also integrated with the google analytics account.
