From what I've read here on Warrior Facebook traffic is hard to convert. I run a PPC campaign on facebook, but I don't expect to make any money directly...I do it to get more exposure to my site. I believe my site is valuable enough that visitors will bookmark it, share it with friends etc. Eventually I'll see a return, but it will be hard to measure due the nature of my business. If you are directing traffic directly to a sales page you probably won't have very good results. If I was going to suggest anything it would be to use facebook PPC for lead generation. Create a simple landing page (preferably with video) and an opt-in for something valuable to your traffic. Take the time to provide more value to your mailing list and then sell your product on the back end though email marketing after you have earned their trust. |

the best converting traffic from Facebook that I have found is for free offers that are very very highly targeted. The number one feature to use is the like targeting. and don't forget to use the CPM rather than the PPC.
