Hi All,
How to improve my google PR. My google PR=2 stuck there for 6 months despite the fact that we have some good SERP. How can i improve my PR.

As far as I know, you cannot manually improve your page rank.All you can do is write better content, see that you have no broken links in your blog and most of all focus on link building.

To improve your Google PR you will be needed very much time and maximum quality backlinks.

PR comes from links passing more PR. You have to find links from high quality sites (or at least sites with higher PR).

Exactly :-) - As Brad will already know, but you may not, a site with PR6 won't necessarily pass more PR than a site with PR4, you'll have to do some analysis on the links because you'll gain much more benefit from getting a link from say a PR4 site that has 2 external links than a PR6 site that has 100's of external links

I also have this suituation. It is very difficult to find link from higher sites.

It's not actually that hard, you can gain link juice from simple things like blog comments, there's a lot of high page ranked blogs out there that have do-follow comments that you can gain from.

In my experience I've even managed to grab a couple of easy links from bbc.co.uk blogs because they have been do-follow!

Firstly you should know that theres a long time that Google didn't update pageranks. So maybe you see improvements on your pagerank in the next update. Secondly the only way you can increase your pagerank is getting backlinks from high pagerank dofollow pages with a few external links.

Google has not updated PR for that long so whatever SEO work you have been doing cannot be judged for now.

The last page rank update was April 2 of this year. There's been much speculation that the next one will be at the end of this year... and there's been other speculation that PR is no more and we'll see this go away. Guess we'll know soon!

First, I want to say that the content on your site is absolutely irrelevant to PageRank. PageRank is dependent on links and links alone. About 0:23:

And it's not even as simple as links. The types of links you get to your site also weigh heavily into PageRank. High PageRank pages, not sites, confer PageRank to your site.

The most popular take on this is "get some handful backlinks from higher pr pages,say maybe pr 6 to 8 and you would get at least get a pr 1 or 2".Maybe true or false,only google can say.

I've had a couple of sites go up in PR with absolutely no backlinking or new content in the last few years. Not even been linked to by other sites in a natural fashion. Just age. I can't think of any other reason at this time.

Try getting links from dofollow blog commenting. This give you much juice of PR to your site
