Gotta' follow the Big G's rules or you get the axe. Nothing pays like AdSense. AdBrite isn't too good at all.

Same thing happened with me a while ago. I moved to amazon and I actually I'm doing better than I did with adsense.

Yup, that's most likely the reason, they're really hardcore about clicking on your own links! But yeah, definitely look into Amazon and other affiliate offers. A lot of times they pay more than AdSense anyway.

I've heard Infolinks is the second-best next to Adsense. I'm using it now combined with Adsense and it brings in a couple dollars a day.

Clicking on your own ad by accident rarely gets you booted from Adsense. It happens all the time, Google knows you are you, and unless it is done repeatedly, probably won't affect anything.

The letter you got from Google should give you some basic idea i.e. "risk to our advertisers", "connected to another account that was banned", etc.

By very wary of anyone telling you they can get you another account, or telling you to open another account with different details.

Be especially leery of this guy who is brand new with few posts and is blatantly fishing for suckers.

Google really could care less if you accidentally click on your own ad.
It happens. One click, or two, is not going to get you banned. Invalid clicks
are part of the beast.

You get banned by getting certain traffic that gives you invalid clicks.

You also get banned by not following all rules. There are many, many, many
rules that I keep reminding people of. But they tell me to suck off. So, to
each his own. They swear they know better. If people actually read through
all rules, they would realize that yes, many safe looking sites break the
rules. Big time.

So, guess what? I don't even mention stuff anymore. People can muddle up
their sites all they want. Like not having any content above the fold. Did you
know that if people have to scroll down to start reading content, you are
breaking the rules? Someone here just posted a site with an offer. The site
has adsense on it. And guess what? A friggin pop up that darkens the whole
site and covers the adsense ad. Totally against TOS. Anything that fuddles
with a user scrolling and clicking around normally is against TOS also. That
includes surfing in AND out. Like I said, there are many, many, many more.
Too many to list. A lot of people would be surprised if they read ALL the rules
on content, ad placement, and traffic.

How many threads are there here on WF like this now? Too many

Do this $hi# right people, the first time.

Paul
