Hi Warriors, my site is using adsense and it works fine on the pages within the site but on the index page it just won't show regular ads. Only Public Service ads by Google. Could you please check that for me if it is the case for you also and may be give me some advice? I already tried a new code, checked my adsense account everything... no luck. The site is ZamaanOnline | Funny and Amazing Stuff and News thanks a lot, Tino |

If you add a bit of written content in the homepage, ads will show. I would also take out the clip featuring the 'vibrator' as it is not family friendly when it comes (I was thinking something else for a moment!) to Adsense.

It sometimes happen.I also find this type of ad but rarely.I think you can select your adsense channel more wisely to get the solution of this problem.

thanks everybody - the vibrator one could be the problem yes - that post itself is not getting ads displayed, didn't see it before. It's a fund video except for the 'adult toy' itself no serious adult stuff in it. |

I've had the same problem with newer WordPress sites. I think Google gets confused between www and non-www versions, or in the event that Google indexed your home page before your content was in place. ZamaanOnline | Funny and Amazing Stuff and News Adding a paramater to your home URL as above displays ads, which is what Google actually sees on the site now, it's just not "caught up" with the root URL yet. Patience. It's frustrating but the ads will start showing correctly soon. |

I got the PSA too. The problem is, the front page has no defined topic. You need more content on a particular topic. The site is interesting though.

Add a paramater to the url such as /?x=something and you will see the Adsense adds correctly. Patience.

There is almost nothing for google to read on your homepage. All "content" is being pulled by some script, flash, etc. You can either just drop the ads, or change the front page. You are putting too much of a preview on the main page. Nobody has to go a post because they can just view from that page. I myself would change the homepage to show the latest post, or just a snippet of all the rest where people must click to view, then they will see adsense on each post. On some of my sites, I don't display adsense on the main page. Reasons I'll just keep to myself. Paul |
