I have been using Micro Niche Finder for a couple of months and can highly recommend it.There are some great videos on YouTube about how it works.

Yes, had both, used both and would go for Micro Niche Finder every time! Market Samurai is ok, but has to drawbacks that really irritate me. 1. It is very resource heavy on your PC so you can't multi task so well. 2. It still leaves you with lots of maths and decision making on whether to go for a niche or not. Micro Niche Finder has a great Strength of Competition rating that basically tells you instantly how difficult a keyword is going to be to rank for. You can spot great opportunities almost instantly. I have never failed to reach 1st page for keywords I sniffed out using MNF |

I have had both... I had a lot of issues with ms so I completely uninstalled it and now I am unable to even get it reinstalled. It ran really slow, froze my computer and while I think it's a great kw tool my vote would also be for mnf. I love my mnf, it updates easily and while it seems to be a little slower than it used to be, it still works great. IMHO |

I have both. They both have good points. MNF gives you lots of keyword analysis information on lots of words. I like being able to quickly look at the SOC (Strength of Competition) column. I purchased MS after I had purchased MNF because I really like the SEO Competition feature and the Rank Tracker. Use the trial version of MS to get a good look at it first. Many times I will get good ideas from MNF and then plug them into MS to look closely at the SEO Competition. |

I have both, and either one will be a big step forward in terms of kw research if you are used to say using the Google adwords KW tool and evaluating competition manually. Here is what I believe are the relative strength of the two tools: Firstly, one really nice thing about MS is they seem to have some sort of inbuilt proxies. What this results in is that you can do a lot of analysis at a good speed without getting any sorts of temporary Google bans that stop your tool usage for a period of time. MS is the best tool I have used to avoid these sorts of problems. For straight keyword analysis and evaluating competition, I prefer MS. This is mainly because MS has a separate module to evaluate competition where it returns a number of metrics on the top 10 results for a keyword, so once you have sorted through the long list of KWs that either tool will produce and found one you really think you might target, using this feature will give you a much greater insight into how easy it will be to rank for KW, and saves doing this in a less efficient manner manually with say SEO quake. Where I would say MNF really stands out is in mining EMDs. If finding good EMDs is a big part of your strategy, this is one reason to consider MNF over MS. MNF will allow you to search for the availability of either the .com, .net or .org EMD for each of the KWs in the list you are looking at. MS does have a domain feature, but I have personally found problems with this. I have configured MS to be able to search for EMDs, but it does not seem to work properly (unless of course it is some sort of user ID10T error ).The tool often is returning available emds for me that are not available when I actually then go to a registrar. I don't know if this is a bug in the MS domain availability checking, or if they are using a source to check availability that results in premium domains being sampled by a registrar when checked, so you have basically just given your find to some registrar somewhere. Also, if you load a large list of search terms into the domain checking for MS, it fails to check the whole list properly, and as such is not really suitable for the mining of domains. If not for the domain proplems with MS I would suggest that tool, but given what I have seen here, my thoughts are: Both are good for KW research but I think MS is better. If you want to mine EMDs as a big part of your approach, this is a reason to consider MNF instead. Hope this helps. |

Hey All, I had been using MNF but now have took some sort of fear to the results.. I think i'm over thinking it!! Do you guys still trust the results you get from MNF? So if you get a green in the SOC, do you go for it. I (previously) would have took my greens and checked top ten, then if still manageable i'd have happily built away. Now i've hit a brick wall.. Chris. |

I Have both and they each get lots of work to do. Given you want to earn good money on IM I would recommend you buy/use both and learn how to get most out of each. Then you will fire up the one you need without thinking. Lots of other good tools out there but with MNF/MS you can safely ignore the rest and get on with making money. Note also that MS has a lot more to it than just keywords (the module of which is free anyway) with a great rank checker and competition tool PLUS promotion/other tools that never get a mention here. Likewise, MNF has its special extras beyond basic searching for in-depth niche research. So - BOTH highly recommended and each only costs a fair one-off lifetime license fee. Just do it. |
