How do you find scalable link opportunities?

Link search is a fundamental component of any seo strategy and link building campaign. I'm just wondering how you guys do your own research for link building opportunities, well here are mine:

1. Refined Google search
2. Related niche search
3. Extract links from competitors
4. Find links from link partners and from high PR sites that are already included on my list
5. Exclusive search engines
6. Setting up Google Alerts
7. Finding link opportunities through influential users and leaders from related niche in Twitter.
