I am looking at a product in a particular niche with the following stats - exact match count 56,000, allintitle 2320 - all the pages on page one of google are amazon, ebay, walmart, homedepot and about.com. non of the pages have the exact keyword in the title, description or h1 tag, they have 0-7 backlinks to the pages but hundreds to millions of backlinks to the domain. Should I go after this niche - your advice is appreciated |

I would, but make sure you go after some like keywords as well, might take a liitle time to beat amazon and walmart but with some good content and high PR back links you shouldn't have to wait too long to do it.

Get your domain and start building. Whats the worst that could happen? You waste your $8.99 domain fee? Go for the gusto!
