New Blog SEO Help

I am new to this forum and I am trying to get my new website higher up in the rankings on google. What are some tips that you have for doing this? What things have worked for you? What hasn't worked for you? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Most people on this forum love to help the new guys out, the problem is that this is a huge forum with dozens of new registrations everyday asking the exact same question. Its too much to answer the same question everyday several times a day and you may get flamed for asking a simple question.

Your best bet is to read up on what has already been posted about SEO here. There are even some threads that have been "stickied" by moderators on the forum to help out new members. Go read all that and then read up on success stories by members and what THEY did. People love posting what worked for them, you just need to search for it.

After all that you should implement whatever methods you can and put all your effort forward.

If you have done all of this for a few weeks and then say what you have done and what results you have had members here will have NO PROBLEM AT ALL helping you make your campaigns more efficient. This is because you have shown that you can read, learn and put what you learn to work. Best of luck.

You can forum posting, article writing, blog commenting to promote to your your site in Google.

Start with your own original content and then backlinks and then blogs and postings. Seo is a slow process so just stick with major seo techniques.

What have you tried? There are different ways to get better ranking. Some include videos, article marketing, high page rank backlinks, site maps, and using a good wordpress theme such as Thesis that is SEO optimized.
