Open affiliate links in new window or no?

Just wondering what is working for everyone else. Do you have your affiliate links open in new windows when your site visitor clicks on them (so as to send them through to your affiliate link while still keeping them on your site) or do you have them just leave your site and the link they click opens in the same window? I'm curious because I'm starting to feel that maybe I should have my affiliate links NOT open in new windows so that people don't feel like it's a pop-up and close them right away. It's something I should definitely test but I'd love to know if anyone has tested this and what other people are doing. Thanks!
