Well I've seen SEOLinkVine(excellent package) for automated content thats supposed to blast u up the search engines, n have used SENuke(equally excellent based on functionality) to generate backlinks. Do I really need to use one or both (or manually submit my own content and created genuine backlinks). This must confuse the hell out of most tbh cause (:1 they both cost a monthly amount but (: 2 I really don't make much out of IM (though again I really believe that lots of Warriors do) and am starting to think that maybe I should just forget this whole thing. Have just been made redundant from my offline job (and am sorta glad cause I hated it) but need to decide quite quickly whether I should pursue the online route or concentrate on what I know (though have looked into traffic generation and SEO ro quite an indepth level but am prob just knaff at it too date) .. |

people will say a balance of both, but I could rank a site with no content but a bunch of backlinks but I have more trouble make a site rank with great content and no backlinks

First of all SEOLV/SENUKE do not provide "automated content" they only distribute or create backlinks within content (along with bookmarking, pinging, etc). Honestly speaking, no-one can tell you if the cost of something is worth it, you should find the worth of those tools yourself. Of course, senuke when used extensively can give you quite some value but for a beginner it may not be the best thing. Have a look at other tools that create forum profiles such as Sick Submitter or Auto Backlink Bomb, they are a lot more budget friendly and can provide equal results if used well. |

Both needed but which is most important depends on your battle plan. If you go for longevity: content If speed is your main concern: backlinks Content is safe. Backlinks are risky. Too much too soon and you may well bomb your site. |

Yes, you need both. Without original content, Google will not recognize your site as credible. And with no links, you will not rank.

You might need both, but still it depends on your real goal. If you aim for long term benefits but with slow development, then focus on the content. But if you want fast results but with a possibility of losing ranks in a long run, then go more with the backlinks.

both content and backlinks are important. If you reach up to a sufficient amount of content in the site then try to prefer more on backlinking.
