Hello warriors, I am thinking of selling some amazon products as an affiliate by making product review sites. I have been finding the keywords from google keyword tools but I am surprised by the results that google has for these products. All of them are high quality sites many have an alexa ranking of under 1000. Can we outrank those sites I know we can but isnt it going to be very tough to outrank these sites?? Sites like amazon, cnet, newegg. How come people say that promoting products from amazon is much easier than from clickbank?? What is your strategy for outranking these kinds of websites? |

You can outrank them but its very difficult. I suggest you to choose another keywords which have less competitors. In this case i think you can make money for yourself faster and easier.

When researching niches for product review sites, I like when I see low-PR pages from the major retailers. If you use an exact match domain name, these pages can be outranked fairly easily. Build a site with good content, then build links to it until it makes it to the front page.

make a review video its easier and get you traffic in a short time, also article work much better when you post them into high PR article sites than making your own and wait for them to be index

For some of the best selling products on Amazon, the keywords on the first page of Google have at least a few hundred backlinks. If you can get more backlinks, you can outrank them. Probably with time, these big companies will be stepping up their SEO efforts along with spending money on Adwords.

Always experiment with different phrases. Going for keywords like "blue running shoes" is a waste of your time because you will get traffic that wants info on blue running shoes, photos of blue running shoes etc. Go for "buy blue running shoes online cheap" or "blue running shoes review" to attract traffic that have their credit cards in their hands. |
